Connie T. Chwan

Connie T. Chwan joined Possitivity in 1987 and was named the President & CEO in 1991. Ms Chwan juggles multiple responsibilities, relationships, and stakeholder interests while keeping both eyes fixed on the mission and financial bottom line of the corporation. Her focus is to provide direction and focus for relationships that create unity and strength within the corporation, develop an inspiring vision to generate passion and excitement, and provide resources that support and enhance success and increased capacity to fulfill Possitivity’s mission.

Ms Chwan has extended Possitivity’s influence nationally through presentations about creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities to state rehabilitation associations and legislative bodies around the country. She is an elected officer of local and national boards of directors, and was appointed to the Integrity Awards Committee of the Central Ohio Area Better Business Bureau when Possitivity became the first not-for-profit corporation to win the award.

Ms Chwan’s personal mission to make a difference in people’s lives propels her each day to accept the challenges of a dynamic business and strive to help more people with disabilities achieve their employment goals – one job at a time.
